Two more people are now in custody in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.
These detentions follow a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.
A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later discharged.
Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault near the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.
Authorities were called at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several people hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.
The assault - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not considered an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
