Currently training with his coach and Goetzke, the tennis star has consistently improved in the last few weeks - peaking in a hard-fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 triumph over challenger Corentin Moutet.

Yet the player has altered his approach in the past month, making an effort to come to the net and perform aggressively, backed up by an enhanced service.
The champion fought back from a break down in the opening set against the tricky Frenchman, securing four of the final five exchanges to gain the advantage.

Suitably, Medvedev secured the win with a rally at the net, with his opponent failing to control a shot after over two and a half hours.
